I am passionate about cancer awareness and prevention because my father, great grandmother, grandmother, great aunt, godmother, uncles, and too many other relatives and friends have been afflicted by cancer in their lives and it makes me MAD, and SAD that this disease hurts so many people that I care about. I want to work to find a cure and this promotion is a fun, interesting and exciting way to do it!

Vicki Seltz BarnesI also support breast cancer awareness programs of all types because my company, Tanger Outlet Centers has taken a stand to fight this disease and encourages its employees to get involved. Our founder, Stanley K. Tanger, chose to take on the fight against breast cancer because of his wife Doris is a 40+ year breast cancer survivor, and because the majority of our shoppers are women who are most affected by breast cancer. Since 1994, thirty three Tanger Outlet Centers across the country have supported the fight against cancer by joining our customers by donating over 6.1 million dollars to communities through the Stanley K. Tanger Breast Cancer Fund. Locally our outlet center has donated over $225,000 to fight this disease and I am PROUD of our customers, our tenants, and our employees for working so hard to do that.
