"Tee Off for Tolfree"

2008 Event Highlights

The West Branch Country Club and The Dream were the setting for the 2008 Tee Off for Tolfree event that was held on Monday, September 8th. The weather for the event started out a bit cool but warmed up nicely for a beautiful autumn day; perfect for the 166 golfers that participated in the event.

Girls Day Out

2008 Event Highlights

Thank you to everyone who got a jump on their holiday shopping at our first Girls Day Out event held Friday, November 7th. The Silver Lining, Edith M’s and Java Junction, all located in downtown West Branch, were presenting stores. It was a fun day of shopping that employees and store owners alike enjoyed. Watch for additional events promoting all the great businesses in our area!

Angel Tree of Hope

2008 Event Highlights

Thank you to everyone who participated in the first annual Tolfree Foundation Angel Tree of Hope ceremony. Pastor Dan Stoneback inspired all in attendance with his kind and moving words about compassion and love. Community members placed over 100 angels on the tree in honor or in memory of their family and friends. A special thank you to our event sponsors; Hospice of Helping Hands and Independent Bank. Funds raised from this special evening were donated to the medical center’s Healthaccess program to help the uninsured and underinsured living in our county.

Poinsettia Sale

2008 Event Highlights

The Poinsettia Sale was a huge success with 118 flowers being purchased by employees, community members and business owners. The proceeds from the sale will be used to purchase a Sony PlayStation 2 system and games for patient use. The Foundation would like to once again thank the Rose City Greenhouse for another season of beautiful flowers!

Employee Support Raffle

The Employee Support Committee would like to thank employees and the community who helped to support this popular fundraiser. Because of your kindness we were able to raise $325 to purchase a PlayStation 2 game system along with games for the Nursing Unit. This new game system will be used for patient use and will be appreciated by our future patients. Congratulations to Sally Ann Whitener, Communications Director, on winning this year’s GLASS TURKEY.
